Job title: Fixer mason (a stonemason who can install on site).

Pay: £180-£200 per day

• We are looking for a skilled, experienced mason who can cut, dress and install stone, and who is proficient with both modern power tools and traditional hand tools.
• 90% of this role is on-site installation.
• Both new work is undertaken alongside restoring old and damaged masonry works.
• Successful masons should have a love for traditional techniques, a keenness for learning, good problem-solving skills, and a talent for working with their hands.
• CSCS card – if you don’t have one, we’d like you to be prepared to get one.

• Installing stone, liaising with clients and London Stone Masonry staff regarding the organisation of the project, materials and labour levels.
• Maintaining tools and workspaces.
• Cutting, shaping and dressing materials where required.
• Lifting, carrying and placing prepared pieces cut by our banker masons.
• Reading and following technical drawings.
• Developing apprentices skill sets.
• Restoring old and worn masonry.
